Location and Hours

locationWychwood Music Festival 2010 will take place at Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire on the weekend of 4th – 6th June 2010.

Idyllically set beneath the beautiful Prestbury Hills, our site is divided into the Festival Village; encompassing the Main Stage Arena, The Big Top, Workshop areas, Global Trade Village and Healing Gardens, and the Campsite which is a short distance from the Festival Village on ‘centre course’.

Hours

Wychwood Music Festival starts on Friday 4th June 2010 with entrance to the campsite from midday. The Festival Village will open at 5.00pm and music on the stages will begin at around 5.30pm. Visitors who are not camping please be aware that you will not have access to the festival village until 5.00pm on Friday 4th June. On Saturday and Sunday the Festival Village is open from 9.00am for day visitors. Music on the stages begins from 11.30am with a variety of workshops running throughout both days.

We are very fortunate to have a licence that allows entertainment until 3.00am. Please do enjoy yourselves, but be considerate of those around you who might be sleeping when heading back to your beds. The campsite will close at midday on Monday 7th June.

Box Office opening and closing times

  • Friday 10:00 – 23:00
  • Saturday 10:00 – 23:00
  • Sunday 10:00 – 24:00

Late arrivals: Anyone arriving after the box office is closed who has a valid ticket reciept, can go to the gate to the side of the box office where a security officer will be able to deal with your entrance. Unfortunately we will be unable to sell tickets for either cash or with credit cards after the box office has closed. There will be no cash held at the gates. Please note that if you arrive after the box office is closed, you will only be able to get a band for the night of your arrival; you will need to return to the box office the next day to be banded for the rest of your stay at Wychwood.
