Wychwood Music Festival 2011 will take place at Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire on the weekend of 3rd – 5th June 2011.
Set beneath the rolling beauty of the Prestbury Hills, our site is divided into the Festival Village; comprising the Main Stage Arena, The Big Top, Workshop areas, Global Trade Village and Healing Gardens, and the Campsite which is a short distance from the Festival Village on ‘centre course’.
Hours
The festival starts on Friday 3rd June 2011 with entrance to the campsite from midday. The Festival Village will open at 4.00pm and live music on the stages will begin at around 4.30pm.
On Saturday and Sunday the Festival Village is open from 9.00am for day visitors. Music on the stages begins from 11.00am with a variety of workshops running throughout both days.
We are lucky enough to have a licence that allows entertainment until 3.00am. Please enjoy yourselves, but be considerate of those around you who might be sleeping when heading back to your beds.
The campsite will close at midday on Monday 6th June.
Box Office opening and closing times
- Friday 10:00 – 23:30
- Saturday 9:00 – 23:00
- Sunday 9:30 – 23:00
Late arrivals: Anyone arriving after the box office is closed who has a valid ticket receipt can go to the gate to the side of the box office where a security officer will be able to deal with your entrance.
Unfortunately we will be unable to sell tickets for either cash or with credit cards after the box office closes. There will be no cash held at the gates.
Please note that if you arrive after the box office is closed, you will only be able to get a band for the night of your arrival; you will need to return to the box office the next day to be banded for the rest of your stay at Wychwood.
