John Dougherty is well known for a number of books including Zeus on the Loose, which was shortlisted for the Branford Boase Award for ‘an outstanding first novel for children’. John lives in Stroud and gave up teaching to concentrate on writing, but still enjoys visiting schools as an author.
As well as writing books, John is also a talented poet and singer. John will be performing readings from some of his books along with poems, songs and silliness. He will also talk about his experiences of writing and being an author.
