As well as selling tickets to people, we here at the Wychwood Festival also like to give away some tickets to people who can sell them for themselves. One such group that we did that with this year was the Reddings Playgroup. The Playgroup was set up in the late 1970′s by a local mother who wanted caring, supportive and affordable pre-school education for her own children. Today’s playgroup holds to these values. With well trained staff who create a friendly atmosphere for all. Children are able to develop essential social and intellectual skills by playing in a safe, stimulating environment.
Below is the letter they sent us.
Dear Stefan,
Thank you very much for your support with our fabulous evening.
We had over 90 guests and sold almost all of our treatments and with your help we raised an amazing £1500. We had a great bidding war over the festival tickets.
We will be using this money to buy new role playing costumes and some exciting science experiments for the children, including an incubator for watching chicks hatch. We will also use it to continue to help fund our healthy eating program and Stretch ‘n’ Grow.
