Robin Ince
Robin’s hilarious performance at last year’s festival was such a hit, we couldn’t resist having him back this summer.
Robin started as a comedy writer, working on V Graham Norton, Alistair McGowan’s Big Impresison and Meet Ricky Gervais. He appeared with Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Jimmy Carr in the Edinburgh show Rubbernecker. He also supported Gervais on his Politics and Fame tours and made a cameo performance in BBC comedy The Office. Robin can often be seen on TV panel shows and as a talking head. In 2005, he began running the Book Club night, where acts are encouraged to perform turns of new and experimental material. The Book Club proved to be so successful that Ince took it on a full UK tour in 2006 and won the Time Out Award for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy. Robin often works along side greats such as Josie Long, Chris Addison, Richard Dawkins, Simon Singh and Philip Jeays.
Pete Johansson
Hailing all the way from Canada, Pete has burst on to the UK comedy scene with some gusto. His Debut show “Naked Pictures of My life” was nominated for the highest award of Best Newcomer. This has led him onto massive success, including Radio 4s Loose ends, Performing opposite the likes of Stewart Lee, Ed Byrne and Simon Amstell.
There is much more to come from Pete in the world of comedy, and you have the chance to see him perform as your Sunday headliner.
Craig Murray
(not ‘the other Craig Murray’ – former UK Ambassador to Uzbekistan ).
Craig cuts his comedy teeth as the resident compere at London’s “The funny side, covent Garden” and will be MCing on the Friday night.
Where He has rapidly become a master of the compere’s art; able to turn any crowd from a lacklustre mob into a clapping, cheering, delirious audience ready to laugh all night.
Having honed his talents as an MC introducing others, he’s now bringing his impressive stage presence and flair for audience banter to his very own stand-up set.
Ray Peacock
Had you been lucky enough to go and watch pretty much any TV show recording in the
last couple of years, chances are, you will have seen Ray warming up! covering such shows including
Russell Howards Good news, Harry hills TV Burp, Friday night with Jonathan Ross, Miranda, Not Going out, Deal or no Deal Bremner, Bird and Fortune, The IT Crowd

Ray will be headlining on Friday Night.
Nick Page
Former host of “Escape to the Country” Nick became a comic after being bet he
couldn’t/wouldn’t do it, after four months, he turned Pro and is still not sure if he has won the bet or not!
Mixing comedic styles of quick and punchy with smooth story telling puts nick in the comfortable situation of being able to play to any audience and draw laughter from every room.
Nick will be your MC on Sunday.
Tony Cowards
Tony, originally from sleepy Suffolk but now an adopted “cocker-knee”, has been performing his particular brand of hilarity all over the country since 2004. A genial gagster whose material covers a wide spectrum (mostly semi-autobiographical and observational with a pinch of topicality), his quick wit has made him sought after as an act and compere by Mirth Control, Christian Knowles Productions and various independent promoters around the UK; performing at clubs across the UK.
Tony’s likable ‘everyman’ character and wide ranging humour means that he is comfortable in front of any audience and is regularly booked to host comedy nights for the military (entertaining various regiments, from the Irish Guards to the Royal Army Dental Corps) as well as universities, football clubs, festivals and for corporate work. Tony recently made the breakthrough into TV as a football pundit on “Anglia News”, and appearances on BBC’s Celebrity Scissorhands and “The One Show” and film (in the demanding role of “Comedy Club Customer #2″ in the horror classic “Hellbride”).
Tony will be performing on Sunday night.
