Workshops, sessions and events

jugglerOur 2012 line-up will be announced soon. In the meantime, please take a look at what happened at Wychwood 2011.

Once again Wychwood Festival is so much more than great music. 2011 promises to be a fantastic year for Workshops, Shows, Demonstrations and Activities for Kids, Adults and Families.

Four distinct venues will host a multitude of sessions throughout the festival. Add in all the outdoor activities and we promise to keep all ages happy throughout the weekend.

Try your hand at something new at a beginner’s session or be entertained by some of the countries’ top performers. Children are especially well catered for with activities that they will find fun and exciting – and the grown ups will want to join in too.

There are also plenty of places to relax, grab a brew and watch it all going on around you. Some of the favourites from past festivals will be returning but there will be lots of new things too. Once again the Roald Dahl Museum will be telling tales and being creative.

Also look out for street theatre and a few very special and recognisable guests!

More information will follow as the programme is confirmed but there will be –

  • A gentle start each morning with holistic activities for all.
  • A full and varied programme of dance workshops each day.
  • A tent crammed full of making, doing and craft activities each afternoon.
  • Our performance café venue with shows and interactive workshops
  • The little activities tent for more intimate sessions – All for adults in the mornings.
  • Sessions by Healers, NGO’s and more.
  • Oodles of outdoor activities including circus and trapeze workshops and of course the fantastic parade on Sunday afternoon.

No other festival of its size has such a concentration of workshops and activities all in a safe and friendly environment as Wychwood!
