A number of people have been asking when we will be announcing the bands playing on the BBC introducing stage. The good news is you won’t have to wait much longer. The judging panel consisting of BBC 6Music’s Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 1’s Bethan Elfin, The Independent newspaper’s music critic Elisa Bray and Wychwood’s Festival Director Graeme Merifield have been busy listening to the bands and have nearly made their decisions.
The panel will pick the final line-up of 28 bands from the 70 submitted. Here’s a reminder of the 70 bands broken down by BBC region:
