After last year’s barnstorming performance The Roving Crows make an eagerly awaited return to Wychwood. Boasting fiery fiddle playing, trumpet, guitar, drums, bass and vocals they have been described as completely unique and uncontainable, an original Celtic vibe, also drawing influences from genres including jazz, Ska, folk, Kleizmer and blues.
Last year saw them take their original live performance to some of the top venues and festivals across the UK, including Celtic Connections in Glasgow; the Eden Festival, Dumfries and the HMV Institute, Birmingham as well as gracing our own Big Top.
The band recently won ‘Top Celtic Rock Band’ and ‘Top Fiddle Player’ at the Irish Music Awards 2012.
