The Imagined Village is the much talked about project of collaborations begun by Simon Emmerson which had its debut performance at WOMAD this summer.

Featuring Wychwood favourite Eliza Carthy and father Martin Carthy, alongside Billy Bragg, Sheema Mukherjee from Trans-global Underground, Andy Gangadeen from The Bays, Francis Hylton, Johnny Kalsifrom The Dhol Foundation, Barney Morse Brown,  Sheila Chandra and Chris Wood this project is a special not to be missed experience. Early confirmations also include The Blockheads featuring Phill Jupitus, indie up and comers Palladium, a touch of country from Truck Festival favourites Piney Gir and the Country Roadshow and Oxford band The Epstein, winners of Glastonbury's Emerging talent competition in 2007.
