In addition to all the great music you can experience at Wychwood, there is also the chance to get a bit more active.

The 2009 workshops programme is beginning to take shape and we'll have more news on this in the coming months. However, for a flavour, this was the range of activities that were on offer in 2008.....

• The Musicman - getting toddlers involved with playing music.

• Storytellers and crafts from the Road Dahl Museum
• The Little Library - space for young readers and their grown-ups

For crafty folk -

• Banner making
• Mask making
• Giant hands
• Outdoor withy sculptures
• Crafts with recycled materials

For everyone -

• Evening performance poetry and more from New Internationalist / Hammer and Tongue
• Circus Workshops with specialists including spinning, hula hoop and contact juggling.
• Trapeze
• DJing with a club DJ
• Storytelling from around the world.
• Seminars from War on Want

For the early mornings -

• Yoga
• Tai Chi

• Street arts show - a new show by youngsters including breakdance, street dance, kick boxing, free running and martial arts.

Also look out for our newest venue. A café / performance space with local and national acts, you will also find our resident artists and poet here, writing poetry about you and for you!

And of course the parade for all ages on the Sunday afternoon.
